Youth ALIVE! Partners with Life Goes On Foundation to Support Survivors of Gun Violence and Spinal Cord Injuries
At Youth ALIVE!, we believe in fostering hope, healing, and meaningful change in our community. This week, we were honored to host a roundtable discussion in partnership with The Life Goes On Foundation, dedicated to supporting survivors of gun violence and spinal cord injuries. This important gathering brought together community members, advocates, and survivors to share experiences, identify needs, and explore meaningful ways to provide support.
Listening and Learning to Better Serve Survivors
The roundtable offered a space to listen deeply and learn from those directly impacted by gun violence and spinal cord injuries. Together, we discussed the unique challenges survivors face and the resources they need to thrive. By understanding these needs, we can ensure that survivors receive not just support, but also opportunities to heal and reclaim their lives.
A Community Effort for Change
A heartfelt thank you to everyone who contributed to this impactful event, especially Arthur Renowitzky, founder of The Life Goes On Foundation. Your dedication and insights are essential to shaping a brighter, safer future for our community.
As we continue this partnership, our goal remains clear: to uplift survivors, provide meaningful resources, and create a community where everyone feels supported and valued. Together, we are building hope and making change.
Let’s keep the conversation going and work together for a safer, stronger Oakland. Thank you to all who stand with us in this journey!
