A message to our friends, from Lauren, Anne, Carlos, Mike, Gabe, Paris, Juan, Jim, Caheri and the entire YA! staff and board:
Thank you for being part of a
wonderful day in the life of Youth ALIVE!
510 day was truly spectacular!
Not only did we surpass our fundraising goal ($118k and COUNTING) but we galvanized our community to participate in a movement for a peaceful, thriving Oakland, one in which we care about and look after one another; one in which we choose hope and action over despair and apathy. Each of us could feel the warmth, the depth of your interest in our work, and your profound care for the community and our great city. We continue to feel energized and inspired by all of you. Thank you for being a part of Youth ALIVE!
