“Save the Date” for 510 Day
Join Youth ALIVE! on Friday, May 10th for our annual celebration of Oakland on 510 Day, benefiting the life-saving programs of Youth ALIVE! Our event, envisioned, built, and staffed by passionate Oaklanders, has not only become a local highlight but also serves as a model for communities nationwide. As we gather at Sequoyah Country Club on Friday, May 10th, 2024, at 9 AM, we invite you to be a part of our Fundraising Breakfast, a cornerstone of our mission to promote peace and transform lives.
Your support can make a serious impact. Consider the following:
- $100,000 covers one month of our violence interrupters, responding to shootings and mediating conflicts across Oakland.
- $25,000 helps 15 grieving families bury a loved one after the state denies their appeal.
- $10,000 supports an entire middle school student body in receiving peer-led violence prevention workshops.
- $5,000 covers one month of bilingual case management for 10 recently shot and/or incarcerated youth.
- $2,500 enables community members impacted by violence to visit Sacramento and meet with lawmakers.
